Cards, Figures, Hoodies and More!...
lol, hey guys and gals!
Well, I was thinking... with guild wars online store relatively new, and growing... I thought id throw in a few thoughts and see how everyone else likes or dislikes my ideas... I would love to see a Card Game made up for Guild Wars... I've always likes the social aspect of the card games in the local stores... so I thought i'd throw that out there... if you wish to know more... Email me. The second thought... ouch... was to have action figurins of the more popular characters in Guils Wars... scale wise... i'd go with a normal character hight being 3 inches tall... and something like the Titan like 7 or 8 inches tall... and maybe if possible be able to order a replica of our character fully equiped and coloured... And lastly, Hoodies... now I think I saw something already... but I think there should be more veriety for the image on them... like a charr, bone dragon, fav character.. etc... But anywho... thats what I was thinking... let me know if you like the ideas or not... l8r |

 Last time I had one of those was about 27 years ago! It was a Moonbase Alpha character - can't even remember which! To answer your question, I would have to go with ... not! |

action figures... Dolls for guys, although they are the first one to deny they are dolls :P

Anet is protective about its intellectual property, if you're trying to gauge the general reception to make your own. People who ask in advance are summarily rejected, and other projects are cease and desisted.
(Was very surprised to hear the private server OK'd as long as there is some form of verification.) Obviously, things like the Guild Wars tower cases and keyboards are not directly made by Anet, so they're certainly willing to deal with others - I just wouldn't expect it to happen on an individual person basis. That being said, card game reception would depend largely on how interesting/fun it is, I don't think action figures would sell well with minimal attachment to the characters (who actually cares about Mhenlo + co?), and people are already selling derivative clothing designs, without permission. Don't know if they're actually making sales, but they're out there. |
